A very realistic week of outfits and week in my life

As much as I love dressing up and cute all the time, it's not always very realistic to my lifestyle. Especially in the summer when I don't have places to be all the time unlike the school year. Here I threw together a realistic week of outfits that realistically fit my life.

Sunday:

I started the day in Breezy Point on vacation with my family. We got together, had breakfast, and began on our separate ways heading home. Before we left, we stopped in Nisswa for one of my personal fav activities: shopping! I got unique pieces from a boutique that will definitely be valuable in my upcoming fall/winter wardrobe. I also picked up a graphic tee that I just couldn't say no to. After shopping, we jumped in the car and made the trek home for a nice lowkey evening.

I wore a very casual and simple outfit. Just your basic jeans and a white cropped tee and Birkenstocks. I wore my crossbody and some gold jewelry. I wanted to be comfy for the car ride, but look nice enough to go into town. I also was working with what I had packed for the weekend (which was not much).

Monday:

On Monday I went to the gym in the morning and I got a lot done at home, but wanted to get dressed just because it makes me feel more motivated. First I worked on some stuff for this blog. I did a bit of updating to the site and added more pages, created my social media promos for the week, and posted my second post, 10 tips to finding your personal style. Next, I finished working on a sewing project that I started way back in January over my J-term, took a hiatus, and came back to this month. It turned out amazing and will probably be shown on the blog during a fall fashion post. Speaking of fall fashion, I filmed a TikTok of outfits I can't wait to wear this fall which was super fun to style and make. Lastly, I went to the farmer's market and grocery store with my dad.

I wore the graphic tee I got in Nisswa. VOGUE!!! I LOVE IT! (I'm just getting warmed up for when I actually work there). I paired it with my long denim shorts so that I was comfy around the house, but still definitely in the fashion mood. When I left the house for errands, I wore my Reeboks with the outfit, my favorite tote bag, and a pair of black sunglasses I thrifted the other week.

Tuesday:

After the gym, I needed to run over to Joann Fabrics to get a couple odds and ends for my next sewing project. I have some left over fabric from a previous project so I am using it to make a corset-style top. I needed to get thread, more bobbins, and another pack of sewing machine needles (which I later found out I didn't need, but oh well). After Joann's, I headed over to the tattoo parlor and got a quote on a tattoo I've wanted forever. Now I have something to save up for. Later that night I went out with one of my best friends and we drove around catching up.

I wore my current favorite pants, some black slacks (that are actually my work pants) and a black tube top with my Reeboks for a more street style look. Probably more dressed up than I needed to be, but it made me feel cool. I paired it with gold jewelry, some sunnies, and my black tote bag.

Wednesday:

Again, I went to the gym in the morning, and if we are being honest, I didn't do much else. I stayed in my gym clothes and took a nice nap. Then I went to Target with my mom to grab a few things for home and for my dorm.

I wore black biker shorts and a black workout tank with my Nikes. One of my favorite gym fits that transitions well into the day with biker shorts being such a trend.

Thursday:

Thursday was the big day of the week... I got my wisdom teeth out! So if you're wondering why I seem less intelligent in this post, that is why (ignore that, that was stupid haha). I've never gotten an IV or had oxygen strapped to me before so it was all new feelings. All four came out beautifully and I am recovering as I type this with only a little pain. I wasn't as goofy as I expected when waking up from the anesthesia, but goofy nonetheless. For the rest of the day I slept, watched Barbie movies, and ate soft foods.

I wore my favorite joggers ever, and a graphic tee. I added a zip-up hoodie because I was told the surgery room could get chilly. Comfort was definitely key on this fine Thursday.

Friday:

On Friday afternoon, my best friend was leaving to go back to college. So that morning the two of us and another one of our best friends went out for coffee, a little breakfast snack, and one last hoorah as a trio for the summer. Later in the day, my brother and I headed to the thrift store and really lucked out. I found a jack and a couple vests for my fall and winter wardrobe and he found some nice pieces for back to school. When I got home I could definitely feel the pain in my mouth from my teeth, so I kept it lowkey the rest of the day.

I wore a sweater that I got in Nisswa (it was quite a chilly and rainy day) with biker shorts because it is still August after all. I paired it with gold hoops and jewelry, Reeboks, and my green crossbody bag.

Saturday:

Saturday I had a lazy morning. I slept in a bit, showered, and then watched some TV. Then I got ready work work at around noon and spent the rest of my day catering.

In the morning I wore pink sweatshorts and a purple top for a bit of a magenta monochrome look. Later, I changed into my work attire: slacks, a button up, tie, and apron.

On the whole it was a productive week and I am recovering well from my wisdom teeth removal, so all good things! I'd love to have the most fabulous outfits everyday to show you, but realistically that is not how everyday goes. I hope you enjoyed a look into my everyday life and into my everyday outfits. I'll be back next week!
