Hey, I'm Lainey! I am a college student in St. Paul Minnesota studying journalism and fashion. The dream: to be a writer in New York City for a fashion or arts publication. The current: Life by Lainey! ​

I got started writing in high school when I took a newspaper class my junior year. I just absolutely fell in love with writing and the media. Along with writing, I was on the print layout team and helped to design our papers. I loved it so much in fact that I came back the next year as one of the Editors in Chief and took another journalism class my senior year. Once I got to college, I just had to get on the paper. I spent my whole first year as a multimedia journalist and designed the print paper there as well. And now here we are! I want to put the skills I've learned to  create a platform of my own. I've dabbled in news, feature, and political editorial writing, but on this blog, I hope to share about my life, fashion tips, pop culture, projects I work on, and just have a 'not so secret' journal.

 

From this blog I hope to create connections with people through a chatty sort of writing. I want to share my life and hear about yours too! Stay tuned for some lifestyle content and everything fashion!
